What does my vehicle need to use Lift Caddy?

Your vehicle must have a 2-inch hitch receiver and a 12 Volt power supply with a 20 Amp fuse connected via an Anderson Plug.
Is Lift Caddy compatible with electric bikes?

Yes. Lift Caddy is specifically designed to assist with heavier e-bikes, e-trikes, and mobility transport equipment.
How much weight can Lift Caddy handle?

Lift Caddy has a 90 kg lifting capacity, engineered to support the weight of heavy electric bicycles.
Can I still access the back of my vehicle with Lift Caddy installed?

Yes. Lift Caddy incorporates a 45-degree tilt mechanism that allows access to the rear of your vehicle when needed.

It is NOT recommended to use this feature when your bikes or trike are on the carrier rack.

How easy is it to install Lift Caddy?

Lift Caddy is designed for straightforward installation into your vehicle's 2-inch hitch receiver. Most users can complete installation without professional assistance.
How is Lift Caddy powered?

Lift Caddy operates using a dedicated 12 Volt power supply with a 20 Amp fuse, connected from your vehicle battery to an Anderson Plug at the rear of the vehicle, or through a compatible adaptor.
What if my vehicle only has a 7-pin trailer plug?

Vehicles equipped only with a 7-pin trailer plug will need an additional 12 Volt power circuit with a 20 Amp fuse installed and connected to an Anderson Plug at the rear of the vehicle.
Is there a manual override if power is lost?

Yes. Lift Caddy includes a manual override system using a wrench handle, allowing you to raise or lower the unit if electrical power is unavailable.
How much does the unit weigh?

Lift Caddy weighs approximately 18 Kg, making it manageable for installation and removal when required.

Lift Caddy includes a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
